What is the difference between center and centre?

A

Both “centre” and “centre” mean the same thing. Like with countless other English words, their usage and meaning depend on whether you’re British or American. Both can be used to denote the point of focus or convergence of something.

In American English, “center” is used, while British English users say “centre”.
