What is the theme of Cinderella?

A

Among other lessons from the story Cinderella, one of the most valuable themes is the emphasis on being kind to other people. Despite the ill-treatment Cinderella received from her stepmother and step-sisters, there was no doubt that Cinderella had a soul that was pure and kind. The main theme the story seeks to explore and encourage is kindness.

Another theme the story emphasized on was how a person’s luck can change, and how toxic it is to be unforgiving.

It’s a fairytale display of the classical “good triumphs over evil” theme that teaches people to be kind to one another.
