A real gas behaves like an ideal gas when there’s an increase in temperature with a decrease in pressure. At this point, there is a reduction in the intermolecular collision, resulting in a reduction in the potential energy of the molecules. At this point, the size of the molecules is much smaller when compared with the amount of space between the molecules.
This is a behavior typical of ideal gases.
