One social issue often facing developing countries is

A) democratic rule is easily obtainable. B) Reluctance to accept change. C) A shortage of natural resources. D) Very high population growth.
A

Developing countries have a number of challenges to contend with. One issue often facing these developing countries is very high population growth (choice D).  The other options given do not hold. Democracy is not easily attainable and if it were that wouldn’t be a problem. Again, there are no facts to authenticate the reluctance to adapt to change. There are enough natural resources, only that there is a lack of ability to develop them. Overpopulation has contributed to high levels of poverty in urban settings.
