Johnson on the 30th of July, 1965. This bill, popularly known as the Medicare bill was signed alongside Medicaid, which gave medical insurance to the poor. Before this bill was signed, so many older Americans were not served well in the insurance market. After this bill, older Americans utilized the insurance scheme and this was a huge first step towards achieving optimal health care for all.
